Zahari began his formal education in organ in 1997 in the National Conservatory "Pantco Vladigerov", Sofia, Bulgaria, where he studied with Prof. Neva Krasteva. While attending the Cleveland Institute of music, he earned a Bachelor Degree in Organ performance in 2004, studying with Todd Wilson. Zahari has presented numerous solo recitals featuring both organ solo and ensemble music. In 2001, Zahari appeared in a series of concerts with the University Circle Chorale and orchestra performing the Poulenc Organ Concerto. While serving as the accompanist of the Ohio Boy Choir he has toured extensively throughout Ohio. Zahari is an active church musician and is currently the Organist/Music Assistant at Epworth Euclid United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Ohio (visit http://www.epworth-euclid.org for more information). Previous employments include: Shoregate United Methodist Church, Willowick, Ohio; Divine Word Catholic Church, Kirtland, Ohio; and St. Thomas Chapel, Amagansett, New York. In April 2005, Zahari received the Henry Fusner Award for outstanding achievement in the organ department in the Cleveland Institute of Music and in 2006 was the winner of the Cleveland Chapter Ago Scholarship Competition. Currently, Zahari continues his studies in CIM.
